We take copyright infringement seriously. If we receive a claim against any work(s) provided by an artist, we may remove it immediately without prior notice to the artist.
What happens if your work is removed?
If your work(s) is removed due to a copyright infringement claim, we will notify you and provide the following information:
- The name and email address of the person who filed the claim.
- Details of the copyright infringement claim.
What can you do if your work is removed in error?
If you believe the claim is mistaken or that you have the right to use the work(s), you can submit a counter-notification. We will provide instructions on how to do this in our message to you.
Things to Know Before Filing a Counter-Notification
- Who can file: Only the artist who provided the work(s), or someone authorised to act on their behalf, can file a counter-notification.
- Valid reasons: You should only file a counter-notification if you believe your work(s) was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
- Our process: Once we receive your valid counter-notification, we’ll forward it to the person who filed the original copyright infringement claim.
- Restoring your work: If the original claimant doesn’t take legal action to keep your work(s) down within a specific timeframe (as outlined in laws), we will restore your work(s).
